Zoe Yadira Saldaña Nazario, famously known as Zoe Saldana, is a Dominican-American actress born on June 19, 1978 in Passaic, New Jersey. She grew up enjoying the art of dancing which made her enroll in the ECOS Espacio de Danza Academy. In 1995, she joined Brooklyn’s FACES theater group by which her acting skills were greatly enhanced. It was in the year 2000 when she made her acting debut in film when she was cast as Eva Rodriguez in the flick Centerstage, which emphasized her dancing skills.
