Zachary John Quinto is an American actor and film producer. He was born on June 2, 1977 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA to parents Margaret J. and Joseph John Quinto. Growing up, he studied at Central Catholic High School where he joined several musical plays and won the Gene Kelly Award for Best Supporting Actor. Later on he went to Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama and eventually graduated in the year 1999. In 2000, he landed his first role and was starred in the TV series The Others. The following year, he had his second role which was in the CBS drama series Touched by an Angel by which he participated with actors Roma Downey and Della Reese. Series of role appearances came to him right after his first screen appearances. He starred in different TV series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Lizzie McGuire, 24, Heroes, and many others. In 2009, he played the role Spock in the science fiction action film Star Trek. And currently, the 36 year-old actor is filming his upcoming action spy film Agent 47.
Now when it comes to keeping his body fit and strong, Zachary stays active by working out together with his personal fitness trainer. Generally, he regularly attends Yoga sessions and also spends time hiking with his dog.
He also shared that he had experienced some serious workout while he was filming Star Trek. “There was a group of us who did sort of a Star Trek boot camp in preparation for some of the physical scenes we would be doing. That changed my routine because it gave me more structure than my own physical workout regimen,” Zachary said.
