American model, actress, writer, and TV personality Veronica Webb was born on February 25, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan. She is the daughter of Marion Stewart and Leonard Douglas Webb. Since she was young, she was already interested in modeling. After she graduated from Detroit’s Waldorf School in 1983, she immediately relocated to New York to learn about designing. Eventually, she landed a modeling career and became the spokesperson of Revlon. She also modeled for several fashion designers including Isaac Mizrahi, Azzedine Alaia, Todd Oldham, and Karl Lagerfeld. Other than modeling, she was also able to showcase her acting skills by starring on films “In Too Deep”, “Jungle Forever”, “The Big Tease”, “Dirty Laundry”, and “Malcom X”.
During her interview with Shape, Veronica shared that apart from running, she’s fond of doing other exercises, too. “I love kettlebells, yoga and Capoeira,” she said.
And when it comes to diet, she explained, “My eating is pretty consistent. I like Greek yogurt for breakfast. I eat two giant salads a day, a broiled meat or fish, and a dark green vegetable at every meal. I ate a lot more potatoes, brown rice, and lentils while I was training. One weekend a month I indulge in whatever I want. You need cheat days otherwise you can’t survive PMS!”
