Lesley Lawson, famously known as Twiggy, is an English model, actress, and singer. She was born on September 19, 1949 to parents Nellie Lydia and William Norman Hornby. Prior to appearing on television, Twiggy experienced four years of modeling. Soon after she retired from modeling, she tried her luck in show business and particularly appeared on certain TV programs. She also engaged in singing for shows. In 1971, she was highlighted on the film The Boy Friend as well as on The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper’s Feast in the year 1976. Recently, she became prominent for being one of the judges of the reality modeling competition America’s Next Top Model where she appeared from cycles 5 to 9.
In one of her interviews, Twiggy admitted that she doesn’t follow any particular diet. She even said she eats like a horse. Wonder how she maintains her slim figure all throughout her career? Simple. It’s all in her genes. Yes, lucky, we know. “Some models starve themselves but I was just a naturally skinny kid,” she said. “I used to eat everything, even big bars of chocolate, but I could not put on weight.”
Meanwhile, she keeps her body well-toned through exercises like tap dancing and Pilates.
