The Miz - celebhealthy_comMichael Gregory Mizanin, better known by his ring name The Miz, is an American professional wrestler, reality television star, and actor. He was born on the 8th of October 1980 in Parma, Ohio, United States. Apart from his successful wrestling career, he also earned popularity through his film appearances such as on movies The Marine 3: Homefront and Santa’s Little Helper and TV programs including The Gauntlet, Battle of the Sexes 2, and many others. Presently, he appears on the TV show Total Divas.

For the renowned wrestler, the secret to staying healthy and fit is eating right. According to The Miz in an interview, “A lot of that involves eating right. If I eat right I can lean out real quick. Number one is I don’t drink at all (before an event), and I consume a lot of proteins, less carbs, at least avoid them late at night (and if I am eating any it’ll be a lot of sweet potatoes, multi grain stuff, I have oatmeal in the morning).”

He added, “What we do, you can’t be really thin, you’ve got to have that “fat” on your skin because we’re taking bumps. At the same time you can’t just be a big, jacked guy, you have to be an athlete. So I try to do different workouts. I work on a little bit of everything about four days a week – one day chest and shoulders, another day arms and back, another abs, then legs, then I also add a cardio day at SoulCycle.”
