She was born on July 19, 1964 in Cairo, Georgia, United States. In the year 2000, she became one of the “100 Greatest Female Athletes of the 20th Century”, ranking as the 22nd. After spending her college days at the University of Georgia, she eventually started her career in the professional basketball world and since then, she became one of the successful sports celebrities.

When Teresa was interviewed by the WNBA, she mentioned that she enjoys biking and running. They’re few of her favorite exercises. She also revealed her favorite upper and lower body exercises. She said, “Exercises for my upper body that I do include shoulder presses, lat pulls and curls. These exercises provide leaner arms and help improve my muscles’ endurance.” She continued, “Some of my favorite exercises for the lower body are running, agility drills and low impact weights. These exercises not only help strengthen the body, but help to prevent injuries and provide better foot speed.”

Now let’s talk about her diet. Here’s what she shared: “I just try eating something light prior to games. I have a weakness for coffee and vegetable spring rolls. And, I enjoy veggies as a healthy snack.”
