American actress and former model Talisa Soto was born on March 27, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York. The youngest among four children, she was originally named Miriam Talisa Soto. She started her modeling career when she was 15 years old, signing with the modeling agency called Click Model Management and appearing on modeling shows during summer seasons. Soon after, she went to Paris to pose for Vogue wherein she was photographed by the American fashion photographer Bruce Weber. Later on, she decided to enter the world of acting. It was in the year 1988 when she landed her first acting project which was on the American comedy-drama and mafia film Spike of Bensonhurst. She was also highlighted on the 1989 James Bond film Licence to Kill wherein she played the role Lupe Lamora and worked with the actor Timothy Dalton. Her latest appearance on screen happened in 2013 on the film Elysium by which she portrayed as Tisha.
Talisa maintains her shape by regularly doing her usual workout. She shared in an interview, “I’m one of those few people that enjoy working out. I get that fabulous adrenaline rush. Three times a week, I do weights and cardio.”
She also stated that she’s not following any special or strict type of diet. “No, not really. I eat healthy and don’t even get on a scale. I have my favorite jeans that I wear, and if they are getting too snug, I watch what I eat for a week,” she explained.
