Sydney Leroux - celebhealthy_comSydney Rae Leroux Dwyer is a Canadian-born American professional soccer player and Olympic gold medalist. She was born on May 7, 1990 in Surrey, Canada. The daughter of Ray Chadwick and Sandi Leroux and the wife of Dom Dwyer, she particularly plays as a forward. Starting 2008, she chose to play for the United States women’s national under-20 soccer team. Currently, she is known for playing for the Western New York Flash in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

Besides doing sports, Sydney stays fit by performing Yoga. She said in her interview with Shape, “I love Yoga; it brings my crazy down to a more peaceful level. It also helps make me more flexible, and if I wasn’t so flexible, I probably would have broken a few more bones than I have, given all the hard tackles I get into during a game.”

Now what’s her diet like? “I’m not too strict with what I eat,” she said. “I’ve done pretty well with keeping my body in shape and feeling good, so I try not to be too crazy about what I can and can’t eat.” What about when she’s traveling? “It’s hard to find healthy options out, but sticking to things you know will be balanced is a good plan,” she said. “I’ll usually just go to a grocery store and pick up some fruit—I love peaches! There’s a Wegman’s near where I live and I swear they have the best peaches I’ve ever tasted! Sometimes I’ll go out and eat really healthy; sometimes I won’t.”
