Sophie Falkiner is an Australian television presenter. Born on March 20, 1974 in Melbourne, Australia, she has previously presented an entertainment news series Confidential on Fox8. She also worked as a presenter on The Great Outdoors and letter-turner on Wheel of Fortune. Her career break on Wheel of Fortune came after she competed a Bachelor of Media Studies (majoring in journalism) at Macquarie University.
According to Sophie, Pilates is one of her favorite ways to stay fit. She said in an interview, “I do Pilates at least once a week and I work with a personal trainer once a week before the kids get up. I also like to go for a run at the weekend with my husband or friends”. Apart from that, being active also helps. She stated, “We’re an active family. At the weekends we try to leave the car at home and walk or cycle.”
When it comes to her diet, here’s what she said, “I like to eat healthily and cook at least five times a week, but I love a glass of wine every now and again. For breakfast I usually have some porridge with soy milk and bananas, apples, blueberries or prunes on top, with a sprinkle of LSA. On the weekends, when I have more time, I love to have poached eggs with spinach, tomatoes and avocado on brown bread. Lunch is a chicken or tuna salad packed with all different colours if I’m home. If I’m out, it’s an Asian chicken soup with vegies, some salmon and avocado sushi and miso soup or some steamed dumplings and greens. Dinner is usually marinated beef, chicken, fish, lamb or tofu on the barbecue, a stir-fry or something steamed. I also have a salad and sweet potato, noodles or quinoa for carbs.”
