Australian ballroom dancer Sharna Burgess was born on June 21, 1985. Although she grew up being a boyish, she was already seen as a child that really enjoyed dancing. Apart from dancing, she was also involved in different sports. When she was 8, she attended ballroom dancing lessons and eventually joined local and national dancing competitions. At 18, she relocated to London to appear in the UK tour with Simply Ballroom show. She became prominent when she appeared in the Australian dance competition Dancing with the Stars and Holland’s So You Think You Can Dance. Nowadays, she is regarded as one of the famous and successful dancers in the world.
Aside from dancing, Sharna also gets herself physically active by doing variety of workouts. According to her in one of her interviews, “I like to balance my fitness routine with dance, yoga and Pilates. I definitely recommend yoga and Pilates for people who do a lot of gym work. It really helps to sculpt your body and lengthen those muscles out, taking away that boxy bulky muscle look.”
Apart from workouts, Sharna also advises that to have a killer body, one must be dedicated with healthy and balanced diet. She also says lots of vegetables and water really help in toning your body.
