American actress, model and singer Scarlett Johansson was born in New York City, United States on November 22, 1984 to parents Ejner Johansson, a screenwriter and director, and Melanie Sloan, a producer. Scarlett stared acting even as a child. In fact, she had appearances in the movie The Horse Whisper at the age of 13. Soon after, she landed roles in films including Girl with a Pearl Earring, Lost in Translation, The Nanny Diaries,Cristina Barcelona, The Avengers,Hitchcock and Don Jon.
