Her first job in broadcasting happened in the year 1995 when she worked at the ABC affiliate TV station KMIZ for two years. Soon after, she moved to Tucson and worked for KVOA and later on worked at the WRC-TV, Washington, D.C. After several years of working as a journalist, she decided to attend higher education at Georgetown University Law Center where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Born with excellent intelligence, she took the Arizona Bar Exam and scored the first place. Presently, she is working as a substitute for Meredith Vieira and Ann Curry on Today.
Savannah shares her secret to feeling good and looking sexy and healthy. And here’s what she told the Shape:”If I get home early enough in the afternoon, sometimes I do a quick, 20-minute power nap, and then go on an afternoon jog. I try to go jogging a few times a week, saving my longest runs for the weekend. I also started doing yoga and Pilates this year. I find it to be a great complement to the running and incredibly challenging. When I started, I couldn’t even touch my toes! And now—well, I can almost touch my toes!”
