Born on November 5, 1968 in San Mateo, California, USA, American actor Sam Rockwell was raised by his father Pete Rockwell in San Francisco. Growing up, he used to attend school at San Francisco School of the Arts but later on stopped before graduating. In 1989, he showed a flair for performing when he was cast in the American horror film Clownhouse. Later on, he starred as Al in the German drama film Last Exit to Brooklyn which was directed by Hubert Selby Jr. As soon as he was able to land different roles, he was wrapped with many projects over the years and some of these are in movies A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Charlie’s Angels, Snow Angels, and Moon.
Part of the reasons why he became phenomenal is because he has such a piping hot, rimmed physique. When he was asked about his fitness regimen, he said he has done almost every type of exercises. According to him in one of his interviews, “I’ve done every type of workout you can imagine, from boxing to SoulCycle to yoga. I’ve been getting physical therapy — I have a tennis elbow from boxing. My trainer has me on this thing called the Jacob’s Ladder. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done on a machine — cardio and strength-wise, it’s comparable to swimming or basketball. It’s intense. It kicks any spinning class’ ass.”
When it comes to diet, he said he doesn’t follow any diet regimen. As long as he is eating foods that are healthy, he knows he’s on the right track.
