American actor Ryan McPartlin was born on July 3, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Steve and Lois McPartlin. Growing up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, he went to study at Glenbard South High School and later on at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he graduated with a degree in speech communication. In 1999, he began to appear on screen and particularly appeared in an episode of the TV series The Nanny.
Two years later, his career progressed into a higher level when he was starred on the TV series Passions, playing the main role Hank until 2004. He then made a major appearance in the year 2005 when he was cast as Riley Douglas Martin on Living With Fran. From 2007 to 2012, he also became known as Devon Woodcomb on Chuck. Presently, he plays the role Carter Covington on the comedy-drama TV series Hart of Dixie.
A football player during his student years, it is no wonder why Ryan has that ripped physique. He lives in an active and athletic lifestyle. And apart from being sporty and active, he’s also a healthy eater. In fact, he prepares his own food before he hits the gym.
