American actress, singer, and author Rosario Dawson was born on May 9, 1979 in New York City to parents Isabel Celeste and Patrick C. Harris. During her childhood, she was already seen in the famous American children’s TV show Sesame Street. Eventually when she turned 15, she was discovered by Harmony Korine and saw her as a perfect one who will play for a certain role in her written film Kids. After her remarkable appearance in the said film, lots of acting activities came on her door. These include portraying for the movies Josie and the Pussycats, The First $20 Million Is Always the Hardest, Men in Black II, This Girl’s Life, Descent, and Miss Representation. She further gained widespread attention in 2011 when she was nominated for several awards for playing a significant role in the film Five. Presently, she is filming the comedy film Finally Famous.

When she was once asked about her fitness routine, the actress said that she just regularly walks and sometimes bikes whenever she’s in the city. “When I’m in the city, it’s really good to be walking everywhere,” she confided. “You spend so much time in your car in L.A., you don’t even realize it. My physicality changed so much, my sense of being in my body changed so much. I’m lucky because I live in Venice, so I do get to bike ride a lot.” She also added that she’s not into going to the gym since she finds it hard to go there with her busy schedule. “It’s hard to exercise when you’re traveling all the time, and I’m not that person to go to the gym in the hotel,” she confided.

And when it comes to her diet, she said, “I eat a lot of raw food. I had to have a lot of energy, but I had to be really thin, so I cut out dairy, sugar, and processed foods. That’s really good too because it also helped out with my allergies, but it’s hard to sustain for longer than that. It’s really easy when you’re traveling to be like, ohh I’m traveling! I just want to eat pizza and bagels all the time! That’s usually the hardest part.”
