English actress Romola Sadie Garai was born on August 6, 1982 in Hong Kong to parents Janet and Adrian E. R. Garai. She started her actingcareer in the year 2000, particularly portraying the role Young Elizabeth on the television film The Last of the Blonde Bombshells. The same year, she played the role Zoe Atkins on the TV series Attachments. After her successful few appearances on screen, she gained lots of acting opportunities which include roles on Perfect, Daniel Deronda, Nicholas Nickleby, I Capture the Castle, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, Vanity Fair, Inside I’m Dancing, The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant, and many others.
She became more remarkable in the year 2009 when she was cast on the TV miniseries The Crimson Petal and the White and was nominated for BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. Presently, she is filming the British drama film Suffragette alongside Meryl Streep, Carey Mullligan, and Helena Bonham Carter.
Romola is not at all serious when it comes to diet and exercise. According to her, she loves her body and she’s proud of it. “I want people to think I’m sexy, but to know also that I’ve got an ordinary body and not feel intimidated. I’d rather enjoy food, sex and all the joyful things in life than worry about how I look,” she explained.
