Rodrigo Junqueira dos Reis Santoro, simply known as Rodrigo Santoro, is a Brazilian actor born on August 22, 1975 in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While studying Journalism at PUC-Rio in the year 1993, he participated on acting workshops and eventually went through different roles in a number of telenovelas that include Olho no Olho, Pátria Minha, Explode Coração, and Suave Veneno. He first had his huge major role on big screen in 2001 when he played the role Wilson Souza Neto in the Brazilian drama film Bicho de Sete Cabeças. After his successful appearance in the said film, Canadian director Robert Allan Ackerman was amazed by his performance and hired him to play a significant role in his TV movie The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone. Soon after, he got series of acting opportunities internationally. He played roles in high-grossing films such as Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Love Actually, 300, and many more. His latest movie appearance was in 300: Rise of an Empire. Nowadays, he is busy filming three different movies that will soon come out this year and the next year.
Rodrigo has been practicing a healthy lifestyle ever since he was young. Since he was 17, he’s already very active and his favorite leisure since then was surfing. Surfing is indeed a grueling sport. It requires stamina, balance, and speed to keep you going. That’s definitely the obvious reason why he has that rimmed, well-defined physique.
On the other hand, he follows portion control diet. And he particularly eats foods loaded with lean protein, complex carb, and healthy fats.
