American film and TV actress Regina King was born on January 15, 1971 in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of Gloria and Thomas King, she started her acting career in the year 1985. Her first screen exposure was on the TV series 227 by which she played the role Brenda Jenkins for 106 episodes. Her performance on the said TV program was impressive that’s why she received numerous acting jobs which include TV series The Boondocks, Leap of Faith, New York Undercover, Living Single, Southland, The Big Bang Theory, and several others.
