Brazilian model Raquel Zimmermann was born on May 6, 1983 in Bom Retiro do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She started her modeling career at the age of 14 when she was discovered by a modeling scout in Porto Alegre, Brazil. After being discovered, she immediately went to Japan and Paris to make way for her career. Soon after, she appeared in the cover of Vogue Italia in September 2000 issue which became her huge step towards famedom.
All the way, she modeled for several fashion lines including Chanel, Chloe, Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein, Max Mara, Louis Vuitton, Clairol, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared, Emanuel Ungaro, Escada, Fendi, Bloomingdales, Cerruti, Hugo Boss, Roberto Cavalli, MAC Cosmetics, Giorgio Armani, and many others.
