She became famous for her participation on the reality talent competition The X Factor. In 2011, during the first season of the said competition, Kelly was one among the many singers who auditioned in Los Angeles, California. The first time she faced the judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, Nicole Scherzinger, and Paula Abdul during the audition, she instantly made an impression for her great rendition of Duffy’s “Mercy”. When she made it to the bootcamp series, she was able to sing and perform different songs which led her to the final 5. Overall, she finished the 5th place which gave her the opportunity to earn recording projects afterwards.

Lately Rachel reportedly lost some weight and everyone became curious as of how she did it. Well, her secret, according to her, is all about doing cardio exercises. “I just did a lot of cardio and working out and my mom was with me all the way so I am really happy,” she told People.

In addition, the young celebrity was also disciplined when it came to her diet. “Food used to be everything to me but now it is not,” she said. “It is more like I eat for survival. So now I am good.”
