Born on January 13, 1964 in Los Angeles, California, Penelope Ann Miller is a recognized American actress that appears both in films and television. She is the daughter of costume designer Beatrice and journalist Mark Miller. She is also the older sister of well-known actress Marisa Miller. After graduating in high school in Los Angeles, she immediately moved to New York City to find her career in acting. It was in 1985 when she first experienced appearing on screen, portraying a guest role in an episode of the anthology horror TV series Tales from the Darkside. Two years after, she was cast in films Hotshot and Adventures in Babysitting as well as in TV series The Facts of Life, Family Ties, Miami Vice, and St. Elsewhere. After her first appearances, she immediately landed different roles in films and television which made her become recognized as a successful actress. She also experienced being nominated and awarded with different recognitions namely nomination for Saturn Award – Best Actress, nomination for DVD Exclusive Awards – Best Supporting actress, Chicago Film Critics Association Award – Emerging Actress, and several others.
Penelope is a certified workout fanatic. She is a regular visitor of the gym and she usually takes different exercises to come up with a toned and lean body. “I’m really a fan of working out,” said Penelope. “I love the way I can see the results in my body, like my abs tightening and every muscle becoming toned. It’s addicting.”
Apart from working out, she also observes a diet program to keep her shape well-maintained. She usually plans her meals. Usually, her breakfast consists of oatmeal with blueberries and low fat yogurt while lunch is all about chicken salad with tomatoes. Her dinner, on the other hand consists of grilled season fish while she usually indulges fresh fruits for snacks.
