English actress, model, and singer Patsy Kensit was born Patricia Jude Francis Kensit on March 4, 1968 to parents James Henry Kensit and Margaret Rose Doohan. When she was still four, she was already seen portraying roles for TV ads. Perhaps it’s one of the reasons why she grew up with a passion for acting. It was in 1979 when she became remarkable after she was nominated for the Young Artist Award for Best Juvenile Actress in a Motion Picture for playing the role Sarah Sellinger on the British-American film Hanover Street.
Soon after, she worked for series of acting projects which made her become more prominent in the industry, including her portrayal as Sadie King on the TV series Emmerdale from 2004 to 2006 and Holby City from 2007 to 2010.
Patsy became noticeable when she lost some pounds recently. Her ultimate secret is of course, practicing a portion control diet. She said in an interview, “I’ll eat when I’m happy, when I’m sad, when I’m bored. I enjoy cooking and I love to eat but it’s about portion control.” She also stressed out that choosing a healthy snack is important in keeping an ideal weight.
