French actress and model Olga Kurylenko was born Olga Kostyantynivna Kurylenko on November 14, 1979 in Berdyansk, Ukraine to Ukrainian father Konstantyn and Russian-Belarusian mother Maryna Alyabusheva. At 13, she was discovered by a talent scout while they were in Moscow for a vacation. She was 16 years old when she decided to move to Paris to better pursue modeling. In 1996, she was able to launch her modeling career by signing in with Paris-based Madison modeling agency. Soon after, she already appeared as a cover girl for Elle magazine and Vogue. Later on, she realized that she also had a penchant for acting. In 2001, she had her first TV appearance when she was cast as Carole in the TV series Largo Winch. A lot of acting opportunities came to her afterwards, which include being cast as a Bond girl Camille Montes in 2008’s Quantum of Solace.
It’s no wonder why Olga was chosen to be a Bond girl. As a model with a lean and svelte figure, she’s all what it takes to play the role. But of course, having the kind of body was achieved with hard work. Olga says she’s following a fitness regimen that will improve her body tone and will add muscles on her desired body areas. Skydiving, kickboxing, strength training, martial training are few of her routines. These exercises are proven to boost her stamina and endurance.
And if you think she’s very conscious when it comes to her diet, you’re very wrong. The brunette model is a certified foodie and she eats what she desires. Thanks to her physically active lifestyle, she still manages to maintain her well-toned body.
