Nick Symmonds - celebhealthy_comNick Symmonds was born on December 30, 1983 in Sun Valley, Idaho, United States. Originally Nicholas Symmonds, he is an American middle-distance track athlete. He is the son of Andrea Symmonds and Jeffrey Symmonds. One who was educated at Willamette University, he also attended school at Bishop Kelly High School. Recently, he signed with Brooks Running and is currently earning more and more success in the sports industry.

Apart from running, Nick indulges on swimming as well. Here’s what he revealed in one of his interviews: “I swim after my hard workouts. This moves the blood around and looses up my muscles and connective tissues.” How does he stay motivated during training, anyway? Well, according to him, “It is hard to stay motivated during the tough training, but I just try to visualize myself on the starting line of a big race, and I know that I want to give my future self the gift of being as prepared as possible.”

What’s his diet like? “In season I eat 2.5 meals a day,” he said. “Breakfast isn’t much, just coffee and fruit usually. Lunch is a large sandwich and some chips. Dinner is usually large and well balanced. Out of season I eat whatever the heck I want and usually wash it down with a beer lol.”
