American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actress Naturi Cora Maria Naughton was born on May 20, 1984 in East Orange, New Jersey to parents Brenda and Ezra Naughton. Since she was five, she was seen as a girl who loves music. During that age, she was able to participate in their church’s choir activities. Years after, she attended college at St. Joseph’s Catholic school and later on moved to the Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair, New Jersey. It was in 1999 when she and her friends Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams formed a band called 3LW. The band became prominent because of their songs that became trendy. In 2009, she went into a solo career, particularly recording songs and publishing her first solo album Fame which featured five songs. Apart from recording songs, she also appeared in a number of films and TV series.
When Naturi was interviewed by the Huffington Post and was asked about her fitness and diet preparations for The Playboy Club, she said, “It was more self-imposed and doing everything in moderation and making sure that I was eating right and taking care of my body, which I do anyway.”
She added, “I work out and go to the gym, but I still enjoy my soul food and snacks. But I’m a pretty petite young woman, and I just do everything in moderation and make sure that I just keep everything together.”
