British model Naomi Campbell was born in Streatham, London, England on May 22, 1970. At the age of 7 she made her first public appearance in the music video of Bob Marley’s song “Is This Love” in 1978. Soon after she reached the age of 12, Campbell also appeared in another music video for the song “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya” by Culture Club wherein she tap-danced. While she was window-shopping in Covent Garden in 1986, Campbell was scouted by Beth Boldt who is head of the Synchro model agency. Over the years, Campbell’s career quickly took off making her one of the most legendary models of all time.
To maintain a curvy figure and a healthy body, it was said in some interviews and showbiz scoops that she works out and follows a diet plan which was designed for her blood type which is O positive.
When it comes to exercising and workout routines, Campbell shares that she does gyrotonics, a type of exercise which is helpful in toning the body and lengthening the muscles causing it to be lean.
“What I like about gyrotonics is you feel like you really elongated yourself for the day. … As we all get older, everything changes and moves, and there’s natural ways to exercise. I think it’s important, and I think it’s something that can help keep things in place.” she shares.
