Being the wife of US President Barrack Obama, Michelle had to lessen her responsibilities in her personal career so that he could contribute and focus in helping his husband during the presidential candidacy which happened May 2007.

Aside form being a dedicated wife, The First Lady of the United States is also said to be a fan of exercising. No wonder people love her well toned arms and lean muscles. “I’m seeing myself shift from weight-bearing stuff – even though that continues to be important – and the heavy cardio and running, to things like yoga that will keep me flexible,” Michelle shares in one of her interviews.

We all know for a fact that being healthy depends on how a person perceive it to be but when the gorgeous First Lady was asked about being this matter, she shares: “Being a healthy woman isn’t about getting on a scale or measuring your waistline—and we can’t afford to think that way. Instead, we need to start focusing on what matters—on how we feel, and how we feel about ourselves.”
