Michelle Denise Beadle is an ESPN sports reporter and host. She was born on October 23, 1975 in Italy to parents Bob Beadle and Serenella Paladino who are both from Italy. Growing up in Roanoke, Texas, she attended school at the University of Texas at Austin and studied political science as well as focusing on pre-law. Later on she attended school and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She started her career by working as an intern for the San Antonio Spurs. Eventually, she became a reporter and was able to land a job at Fox Sports Net, particularly hosting the Big Game Hunters. On June 1, 2009, she started working for the ESPN as a co-host alongside Colin Cowherd. She then moved to NBC channel and hosted the NBC Sports Network and served as a correspondent for Access Hollywood.
As a sportscaster, Michelle is well-aware of her responsibilities for keeping her body fit and healthy. She’s a certified runner, and running is her ultimate fitness regime. Noted as a very active participant in marathons, she told the Runners’ World, “I’ve always said to myself that I’m going to run a marathon before I die. Some of my sports reporter girlfriends are running it. We text every morning. When your friends have already run their four or five miles for the day, it gets you off the couch. You don’t want to feel like a slacker.”
While running, she also tries to avoid bulking up some carbs. She said, “I’ve got an Italian mom who’s like, ‘Eat more pizza!’ I’m like, ‘Mom, I don’t think you get what I’m trying to do here.'” Great job for resisting those yummy pizzas, Michelle!
