Born on 12th of January, 1974 in Whiston, Merseyside, England, Melanie Chrisholm is widely recognized as a talented singer who became famous for being one of the members of the all-girl British pop group Spice Girls. Known as “Sporty Spice” and “Mel C”, she started her career as a Spice Girl in the year 1994 where she was able to work with fellow group mates Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Adams (now Victoria Beckham). In 1999, she decided to pursue a solo career. She was able to publish her first album in that year and was able to highlight her first single called “When You’re Gone”. The said song successfully reached the number three spot on the UK music chart. In 2003, she pursued acting and eventually appeared on TV programs such as Bo’ Selecta!, Dei-te Quase Tudo, Giving You Everything,Celebrity Juice, and Superstar.
Melanie takes care of her body by constantly keeping an active lifestyle. She’s noted to be doing total-body circuits with step jumps and declined bench press-ups. And not only that. She regularly runs, at least six days a week — according to a source. In addition, she regularly trains together with her fitness coach Tracy Anderson.
For her diet, Melanie said she’s following Victoria Beckham’s favorite diet which is called the Alkaline diet. “It’s loads of fruits, vegetables, and grains. I need to eat lots at the moment because of my training regime,” she shared.
