Matthew McConaughey-Celebhealthy_comMatthew David McConaughey was born on November 4, 1969 in Uvalde, Texas.  He is an American actor, whose acting career began in 1991.  He appeared as Jake Tyler Brigance in 1996 “A Time to Kill”, where he received an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and nominated for Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Most Promising Actor.  By the early 2000s, he became one of the casts of some romantic comedy films, including “The Wedding Planner” (2001) and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” (2003)”. His appearance on the big screen in the year 2011 onward made way for his performances to be noticed even more, and opens the door for more awards and nominations.  The films include “Bernie”, “Killer Joe”, “The Paperboy”, “Mud”, “Magic Mike”, “Dallas Buyers Club”, and “The Wolf of Wall Street”.  Aside from acting, he also started the “Just Keep Livin” foundation and took time to rescue stranded pets after the flood from Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

Despite the reality that he’s already in great shape, Matthew still did a lot of training and workouts, especially for his role in “Magic Mike”.   Most of his workouts are about circuit training and he also did some dance routines.  However, in a normal day, he just enjoys his life by maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  His amazing physique is a product of some of his activities, including surfing, skateboarding, hill runs, mountain biking, beach runs, yoga, and body weight exercises such as pull-ups and push-ups.

For his diet, Matthew is practicing Paleo eating and intermittent fasting.
