Mahi Gill, also recognized as Mahie Gill, was born on December 19, 1975 in Chandigarh, Punjab. She is an Indian actress that is mainly seen on Bollywood flicks. A graduate of Punjab University, Chandigarh, she acquired a Masters in theater in the year 1998. She officially made an appearance on big screen in the year 2003 when she starred for the film Hawayein. One year after, she gained another screen appearance when she was cast on Khushi Mil Gayee. Soon after, she got plenty of acting projects which made her become really noticeable in the industry. These include films Khoya Khoya Chand, Mitti Wajaan Maardi, Chak De Phatte, Dev.D, Pal Pal Dil Ke Ssaat, Dabangg, Hikk Naal, and a lot more. Presently, she is filming the Punjabi-language film Carry on Jatta 2.
So how does this pretty Bollywood actress keep her stunning figure well-maintained? Well, here’s what she told Times of India: “I workout almost everyday and do a mixture of cardio and Yoga for one to one and a half hours. I jog on the treadmill for a minimum of 30 minutes. After that, I do Yoga for at least half an hour that includes breathing exercise Pranayama, Surya Namaskar and various asanas. A practice that I diligently follow is that I always climb stairs rather than using an elevator.”
Meanwhile, she also observes a healthy and wholesome diet. “I have a mix of apple, beetroot, carrot and amla juice daily,” she explained. “I generally have it early in the morning. Another must-have for me is green tea. I have a cup of green tea after every meal. So I have two to three cups. As for food, I do not eat oily or spicy food. My food contains salt for seasoning and turmeric for spice. Also, I avoid red meat and mostly consume a vegetarian diet. I drink lots of water everyday and do not eat after seven in the evenings.”
