Australian actor and model Luke Mitchell was born on April 17, 1985 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Prior to acting, he was a tennis enthusiast who plays the said sports in several competitions. In 2008, he started to pursue acting and auditioned for the role Chris Knight in the Australian TV soap opera Neighbours. Luckily, he was able to land the role, which eventually led him to acquire different roles in television and films, including the film Performance Anxiety and TV series H2O: Just Add Water and Home and Away. Luke made a great appearance and because of that, he was able to bring home the Logie Award for Most Popular New Male Talent in 2010. Presently, he is working on the American TV series The Tomorrow People and portrays the role John Young.
Apart from doing his roles in his present acting projects, he is also busy working his body to maintain his bangin’, ripped physique. According to the actor, his workout regimen is all about weight lifting and varieties of exercises. “I do weights and work out different body parts on different days. I don’t do cardio — I did too much in my tennis-playing days!”, he said in one of his interviews.
When it comes to diet, he expressed that he is very much determined to eat healthy foods and avoid processed foods as much as possible. “I try to stay away from processed foods,” he confided. “I eat lean meats and get as many veggies as I can on my plate, so when mum calls me on a Sunday I can tell her I’m eating enough veggies! I love pasta, but I don’t eat carbs a whole lot, and I love fruit.”
