American actress and fashion designer LisaRaye McCoy-Misick, otherwise known us LisaRaye, was born on September 23, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to parents David Ray McCoy and Katie McCoy. She started her career as an actress in the year 1995 when she was hired to portray a minor role in an episode of the American sitcom Martin. Because she had an impressive start, she was cast in a number of TV series such as Moesha, In the House, and The Parent ‘Hood. Her breakthrough came in 2007 when she was cast for a major role in an American sitcom All of Us, playing the role Neesee James. Presently, she continues to bring her charm on screen by playing the role Keisha Greene in the comedy-drama TV series Single Ladies alongside Charity Shea, Denise Vasi, and the rest of the cast.
When Lisa was asked by Frigivore about her fitness regimen, she said, “I’m a person that works out per project. When I get ready to go into production or something, that’s when I start working out. It’s usually a fast, get-quick scheme, get it together kind thing. This constantly makes me go up and down because I’m torn. I don’t really like to be as small as it takes for me to be on TV. I like to actually get a little thicker during the summer.” She also said that she regularly works out with her trainer Don from Don Matrix.
With regards to her diet, she shared, “I’m taking in a lot more calories than I ever have, but I am working out as well and burning the fat while I’m toning.”
