Australian artistic gymnast Lauren Mitchell was born on July 23, 1991 in Subiaco, Australia. A product of Australian Institute of Sport, Lauren is the World Champion on floor since the year 2010. She also won the silver medal during the 2009 World Championships. She became prominent ever since she achieved the record as the second Australian woman gymnast to win medals at a World Championships, as well as being the first Australian woman to ever win gold. It was in the year 2007 when she became a Senior Gymnast. Since then, she became more and more successful in her chosen sport.
According to Lauren in one of her interviews, she usually trains 34 hours a week. “I train about 34 hours a week,” she revealed. And according to her, she’s motivated in every small step. “Small steps motivate me. Every little thing that I do inside the gym I know will help get me closer to my end goal,” she explained.
Now what about her diet? “I’m not really on a specific plan, but I watch what I eat and make sure I put good fuel in my body,” she said.
