South African fashion model Lauren Mellor was born on December 1985. She is best known for being highlighted in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue both in America and South America. She first gained prominence right after signing with the modeling agency called Storm Model Management in London. Soon after, she signed with Outlaws Model in Cape Town, South Africa and eventually worked with Modelwerk in Hambrug, Germany. It was in the year 2005 when she was first highlighted in the magazine, appearing in the Top Billing Magazine cover and was greatly noticed. In 2007, she was highlighted in the campaign for John Lewis and was also picked to appear in an FHM cover in South Africa and Essentials magazine. Although her success in modeling greatly skyrocketed, she didn’t disregard her studies and was able to graduate from the University of Capetown, holding a degree in psychology. Currently she is working in the United States.
