British tennis player Laura Robson was born on January 21, 1994 in Melbourne, Australia to parents Andrew and Kathy Robson. She started playing tennis when she was still a child. At 10, she was signed with Octagon company and eventually signed with Wilson Sporting Goods when she was 11 years old. All throughout, she was able to work with different coaches until she teamed-up with Martijn Bok in the year 2007. After winning at Wimbledon, she experienced her debut on the ITF senior tour which was held in Limoges, France. From then on, she competed against international players and was able to join various tennis matches including the 2009 Wimbledon Championships, 2009 US Open, Hopman Cup, Toray Pan Pacific Open, 2012 Australian Open, and several others.
As a tennis player, Laura needs to be fit and toned all the time. What’s her workout secret? “I do a lot of gym work, a mix of cardio, strength and flexibility,” she told the Yahoo UK Lifestyle. “I also have to do rehab for any injuries and niggles I may have but for fun, I like to do Pilates and I really want to try AntiGravity Yoga at Virgin Active 200 Aldersgate with my friends.”
In addition, she always chooses foods that are healthy and loaded with nutrients to keep her energized.
