Well-known Bollywood actress and beauty queen Lara Dutta, now Lara Dutta Bhupathi, was born on April 16, 1978. She is the daughter of Wing Commander L.K. Dutta and Jennifer Dutta. She started to be noticed when she joined and won the yearly modeling competition called Gladrags Megamodel competition which happened in 1995. Destined to achieve her calling as a beauty queen, she joined the Femina Miss India Universe in 2000 and later on represented the country of India in the Miss Universe 200o and even brought home its crown. After her reign in the Miss Universe, she entered the show business and gained her first acting appearance which was in the film Andaaz. After her successful appearance on that film, she accepted several roles in films which made her become a successful actress. Presently, she is expected to appear on the upcoming film Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai.
Now how does the beauty queen maintain her well-trimmed figure? According to her, her main workout regimen is Yoga which according to her is more of a mantra than an exercise. Other than Yoga, she also spends time doing cardio exercises and exercises from fitness DVDs.
For her diet, she said she doesn’t observe any kind since she loves to eat a lot. She just normally stays away from caffeinated foods and drinks and regularly takes vitamins, especially Vitamin C.
