American actress Julie Bowen Luetkemeyer, famously known as Julie Bowen, was born on March 30, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Suzanne and John Alexander Luetkemeyer, Jr. She was raised in suburban Ruxton-Riderwood, Maryland. She is best known for portraying the role of Carol Vessey on “Ed”, Denise Bauer on “Boston Legal”, and Sarah Shephard on “Lost”. Her performance on “Modern Family” as Claire Dunphy earned her four nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She appeared in 1997 “An American Werewolf in Paris”, 2010 “Crazy on the Outside”, 2011 “Jumping the Broom”, and 2012 “Knife Fight”. Julie also appeared in some episodes of “ER”, “Three”, “Dawson’s Creek”, and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”. She was also the voice of Aresia on the Fury episode of “Justice League” in the year 2002.
Julie loves to do a 45-minute daily run to keep her fit, physically and mentally. It also helped her lose the baby weight after her son, Oliver, was born, and even after she delivered the twins. Running has been a part of her system and not being able to do it in a day makes her feel grumpy and crappy. Julie stated: “My running coach in high school said that when you are running downhill just fall, and still to this day I think of that when I am running downhill. Just like, don’t try to control, don’t try to rein in the energy that the gravity is giving you.”
Julie has been a healthy eater ever since. She tries to avoid processed and fried foods and often eats chicken and salads. Julie also admits that whatever her kids are eating will have a huge contribution to what she will be eating as well.
