Judd Apatow is an American film producer, director, comedian, actor, and screenwriter born on December 6, 1967 in Flushing, Queens, New York City to parents Maury Apatow and Tami. As a child, he found comedy films and TV shows fascinating. He even idolized comedy icons Bill Cosby and Steve Martin. Years later, he studied at Syosset High School and worked in a comedy club as a dishwasher at the same time. Seriously wanted to become one of the actors and filmmakers in the industry, he studied screenwriting and worked as a stand-up comedian prior to appearing on screen. He later gained an Emmy award for writing The Ben Stiller Show and eventually famed for his created TV series Freaks and Geeks. He was also the person behind the comedy film The 40-Year-Old Virgin which he personally wrote and produced.
The successful actor-producer stays fit, strong, and healthy by regularly exercising. He doesn’t particularly perform complicated and tremendous exercises but he keeps his body active by doing plain and simple exercises. And although he’s a great fan of real and heavy foods, he makes it certain that he doesn’t overeat.
“If you exercise some every day and cut back on meat and dairy, you’re probably doing fine,” he expressed. “For me, if I want a hamburger, I make myself reach for a seaweed cracker or something instead, even though I don’t like it as much. Then, maybe once every three weeks, I allow myself that hamburger.”
