Born on May 8, 1978 in Menlo Park, California, Josie Maran (originally Johanna Selhorst Maran) is an American model, actress, and businesswoman. She is known to be of Russian and Jewish descent. She started to consider modeling when she met a woman who asked her to do modeling in San Francisco. Years later when she turned 17, she officially signed with the modeling agency in New York called Elite and began appearing on the Glamour magazine cover. She was also highlighted in Guess? during the 1998 summer campaign. Other than modeling, she also appeared on certain music videos like the Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody”. It was in the year 2002 when she started to appear on screen and participated in movies Swatters and The Mallory Effect. Not wanting to let showbiz opportunities slip on her hands, she accepted different roles both in movies and television programs. She was particularly highlighted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Dancing with the Stars. And in 2009, she became one of the judges of America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 13.

All throughout these years, Josie has maintained a gorgeous bod thanks to her passion and dedication to Yoga. Apart from doing the said exercise, she also performs activities like surfing and bike riding to some places.
