Joshua David Duhamel, known simply as Josh Duhamel, is an American actor and former fashion model born in Minot, North Dakota on November 14, 1972. He is of mixed race, born particularly with a French-Canadian, English, Irish, Norwegian, and German ancestry. He is famous for his roles in blockbuster flicks such as Transformers film series and Life as We Know It. Josh started his acting career as an extra in Donna Summer’s music video for her song I Will Go With You and Christina Aguilera’s Genie in A Bottle. His breakthrough came in 2004 when he was included as one of the casts for the movies Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!.
Now that he’s already an accomplished actor and a happy family man with a beautiful and talented wife (Black Eyed Peas’ singer Fergie), he also makes sure to live a healthy life. He obligingly does his workout together with his wife. He says things are more interesting whenever they have workout together because they always make it like a friendly competition. “We’re gym rivals,” he confides. “And I feel lucky to have somebody on my side to push me further. Being training partners make our workouts more diverse.” Usually Josh joins Fergie on her cardio exercises while Fergie also keeps up with him with his strength training. Truly, they’re a great match since they both enjoy getting fit.
As for his diet, Josh does not really indulge in any special diet but he stresses out that he always eats everything in moderation. “Even if you eat pasta or burgers, moderate consumption leads to a more positive outlook in life, better-looking figure, and a stronger mind and body.”
