American actor, producer, and screenwriter John Paul Cusack was born on June 28, 1966 to parents Ann Paula and Richard. It was in 1983 when he first appeared on screen, particularly taking part on the film Class and playing the role Roscoe Maibaum. Soon after, he was seen playing roles on films Sixteen Candles, The Journey of Natty Gann, One Crazy Summer, Broadcast News, Eight Men Out, and several others.
In 1989, he played a significant role on the film Say Anything… and became remarkable for earning the Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Most Promising Actor. In 1997, he again made an impression when he was nominated for the Online Film & Television Association Award for Best Comedy/Musical Actor for his award-worthy performance on Grosse Pointe Blank. He’s got a lot of roles on films over the years and presently, he is working for his upcoming flick Dragon Blade.
Prior to filming “The Raven”, John undergone a serious workout routine and diet plan. According to him, “I just worked with a nutritionist and I thought, because of the way he looked and the way his life was, I thought I should sort of look as gaunt as I could, look sort of skeletal. I worked with a nutritionist, and worked out real hard and ate about 1,000 calories a day.” Now that’s how serious he is when it comes to making his body lean and fit, not just for role purposes but for his general health.
