Jennifer Anne Kessy, better known as Jen Kessy, is an American professional beach volleyball player on the Nivea AVP Tour. She was born on July 31, 1977 in San Juan Capistrano, California, United States to parents Charlotte Kessy and Ronald Kessy. When she was still in high school, she was already seen as someone who loves to indulge in sports. That time, she was the MVP of the swim team her junior year and the Captain and MVP of the volleyball team her senior year. At the same time, she earned honors as an All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) second team.
Now what’s her fitness advice to everyone? “You have to make sure your workouts are still challenging you and making you sore from time to time,” she explained. She also emphasized the importance of switching things up.
She said that she preferably does her workout in the sand. “Not only does sand work wonders for building leg and butt strength, it’s a great break for your joints from the pounding,” she said. “I never jog on the hard ground anymore— and my knees, back, and feet are thanking me for it.”
