Jeff Green , originally Jeffrey Lynn Green, is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Boston Celtics as a forward. Born on August 28, 1986 in Cheverly, Maryland, he is the son of Jeffrey Green Sr. and Felicia Akingube. He attended school at the Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, Maryland and played basketball for the NHS Wildcats where he experienced being a champion in the year 2004.
During his college days at the Georgetown University, he again played basketball under the guidance of coach John Thompson III. It was on June 28, 2007 when he was drafted by the NBA and was placed as 5th overall draft and was eventually chosen by the Boston Celtics. Since then, he became an all-star, highly-skilled basketball star.
Although Jeff has a heart condition known as Aortic Aneurysm, he still doesn’t fail to play better in the basketball court. He has actually done surgeries and is now continuing his care and treatment while still playing basketball. Tough, isn’t it? But Jeff knows exactly how to take good care of his body by regularly doing his exercises and not overdoing it and stressing himself out. He also eats food appropriate for his diet and never consumes foods that are restricted for him.
