Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, better known as Jaden Smith, is an American child actor, rapper, and dancer. He was born on July 8, 1998 in Malibu, California and is famously recognized as the son of well-known celebrities Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. He started to appear on screen when he was included in the casts of the action-spy film Men in Black II. Later on he appeared on the TV series All of Us for six episodes and eventually experienced his big break when he was cast in the biographical drama film The Pursuit of Happyness where he played the role Christopher Gardner Jr. and worked together with his father Will Smith. The said film earned him multiple awards and nominations and some of them are MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Performance, nomination for Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Breakout Male, and nomination for Black Reel Award for Best Breakthrough Performance. In 2010, he again dominated the industry when he was cast as Dre Parker in The Karate Kid. Recently, he became part of After Earth movie.
Jaden works out by following his fitness routine that he used to perform when he was still filming the flick The Karate Kid. Everyday, he spends time training and performing martian arts like Kung Fu.
He made a significant change with his diet during his After Earth movie. He needed to put on some weight during that time so as to fit with his character who was a survivor during the post-apocalyptic Earth. According to the young actor, he gained 20 pounds of muscle, a result to his sort of strict diet.
