She is known for her appearances on several TV series such as “MVP”, “Durham County”, “The Secret World of Og, An American in Canada”, “ReGenesis”, “Pearlie”, and “Murdoch Mysteries”. Throughout her career, she also got nominated for Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Guest Role Dramatic Series and earned an award called Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role.
Helene is a certified vegan. According to her in one of her interviews, “I am very into a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle. I love seeking out cool places to eat and buy food that are sourced from farmers and people who love good food. I tend to meet a lot of likeminded people this way and just like when I am travelling I make friends wherever I am, and end up seeing things I would never have found on my own.”
