Gail Elliott - CelebHealthy_comGail Elliott is an Australian fashion designer and former fashion model. She was born in the year 1966 in the United Kingdom. Known to have English, Portuguese, Anglo-Indian, and Scottish ancestry, Gail was encouraged to pursue modeling when she was persuaded by her ballet teacher when she was 17 years old. She moved to Japan and later on in London to work as a model. Years after, she started the Little Joe Woman and started doing designs. Since then, she became one of the talented fashion designers.

Now what’s the key towards her sexy body? In one of her interviews, she said, “At least twice a week I go for an hour-long walk along the coast. I put my headphones on and walk as fast as I can; I find it calming and really energising. If I do it before work, I feel like I’ve accomplished so much by midday. I’m not much of a ‘working out’ person—I’m naturally pretty slim. I’m part Indian and Italian and I think I got my mother’s fine bones but as I get older I need to pay more attention to toning my arms. When I lived in New York, I was constantly jet-lagged from travelling for work and Bikram yoga helped me recover but since moving to Sydney eight years ago, I’ve found Pilates suits my lifestyle better. I do it once or twice a week. My body responds quickly to it; it’s great for core muscles and creating really strong shoulders.”

When it comes to diet, she explained, “I don’t drink coffee but I enjoy lemon and water first thing—it feels clean and as if I’m starting the day with something good for me. Most nights, my husband, Joe, and I eat at home so when I’m cooking dinner, I’ll make up a batch of Bircher muesli for the week’s breakfasts. It keeps me full until 11am and then I’ll snack on an apple or a handful of almonds. I also try to prepare lunch the night before—grilled chicken or fish—otherwise I’ll pick up some sushi. I try to eat healthily at every meal as it makes me feel better but every now and then I’ll have some fries. Light Mexican meals are our favourite for dinner and I’m getting good at making them; they’re healthy if you cook them the right way. At night, we open a bottle of wine and have a glass together on the balcony. It’s a lifestyle thing!”
