American model and actress Eva Maria LaRue was born December 27, 1966 in Long Beach, California to parents Marcie and Luis LaRuy. She started acting when she was six and eventually became a beauty queen when she was a teenager. In 1984, she was crowned as Miss California Empire which was held in Irvine in the state of California. After graduating in Norco High School, she immediately pursued modeling and was hired by the Judith Fontaine Agency. Later on, her modeling career progressed as she became one of the models of Frederick’s of Hollywood. She started acting in the year 1997 when she was cast in the movie The Barbarians which was directed by Ruggero Deodato. The following year, she played the role Margot Collins in the TV series Santa Barbara and later on appeared as Daphne Prentiss in Charles in Charge. In 1993 up to 2011, she was highlighted in the TV opera All My Children as Dr. Maria Santos Grey. And just recently, she played the role Agent Tanya Mays in a police procedural television program Criminal Minds.
Eva takes care of her body by practicing healthy lifestyle. This means staying physically active most of the time. In keeping her body fit, she regularly does Yoga, walks, and performs Pilates.
And when it comes to diet, the actress is noted to be practicing a Zone diet– a kind of diet practice wherein she limits herself to eating high caloric foods.
