Born February 22, 1981 in Paris, France, Elodie Yung is a French actress famous for her appearances on silver screen and big screen. She is known to have both Cambodian and French ancestry. A graduate of London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, she also attained a Master Degree in Law from the University of Paris. Her acting career started when she was 20 years old. Her first ever screen appearance was on the TV series La vie devant nous where she played the role Jade Perrin from 2002 to 2003. It was in the year 2004 when was highlighted on the French action flick Les fils du vent. From 2005 to 2007, she played the role Fanny Ledoin on Mademoiselle Joubert and also took the part Laura Maurier on Les bleus: premiers pas dans la police from 2006 to 2010. Presently, she is filming Gods of Egypt which will be aired in the year 2016.
While Elodie was filming a certain action film, she had to train hard and practice fighting techniques. She said in an interview, “You have five months to shoot, and you have to be really on top of everything, physically. There’s no rest, and you have to take care of yourself constantly. I had to fight with two katanas. It required a lot of coordi- nation and was very difficult.” This grueling training seemed worth her effort because it also served as her form of workout.
Like any other people, this actress loves to gobble guilty-pleasure foods. According to her, donuts are her absolute favorite! That means she’s not too keen when it comes to her diet.
