Her mother, Sara Sothern was a former actress and his father, Francis Taylor was an art dealer. Being the younger of two children, Taylor is considered to be one of the most celebrated stars in the film industry as she has been with it for more than six decades performing roles that only she can give life to.

Even when Taylor was still a child, she showed a great potential in performing. In fact, she even started dancing at the age of the 3. Soon after, the young Taylor made her screen debut with Universal Studios. Compared to other child stars before, the young Taylor proved to the public that she’s capable of handling seamless transition in performing more adult roles.

Being a fashion icon, Elizabeth Taylor keeps herself fit and healthy through regular exercise. Way back in 1950’s she did rigorous exercises and followed a strict protein diet to maintain her figure. In one of her interviews, Taylor reveals her own diet regimen wherein she focused on consuming vegetables and fruits and didn’t have read meat and plenty of fish. However, she tried to eat palate pleasers like chicken barbecued with potato skins and lime. Despite her death on March 23, 2011, Taylor’s legacy continues to inspire many women.
